Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit, sed do eiusmod tempor incididunt ut labore et dolore magna aliqua.
Contact usCan I fundraise to cover the cost of my trip?
Yes! Fundraising is a normal and encouraged way to cover the cost of your trip.
Worship With Us sends out missionaries, and the costs associated with sending workers are ministry expenses. Because of this, all donations given toward sending missionaries are eligible for a charitable tax receipt, regardless of who makes the donation.
Whether support comes from friends, family, your church, or others who want to partner with you, donors will receive a receipt for their contribution.
Do you issue tax receipts?
Yes. Worship With Us is a Canadian registered charity, and we issue official donation receipts in accordance with CRA guidelines.
Receipts are mailed after the end of the calendar year.
How many people will be on the team?
Team size varies, typically ranging from 4 to 9 people, depending on the trip.
When should I apply?
Now. It’s never too early to start the process.
Even if you’re considering a trip a year from now, submitting an application now helps us keep you informed as plans develop. The first step is simply to complete the application form.
How long is the trip?
Most trips last about two weeks and two days.
Typically, we depart on a Friday and return on a Sunday, arriving home the same day. Trip length can vary—especially if we’re visiting multiple countries or offering different participation options.
Do I need to be a musician or have some special talent to join the team?
No special talent is required.
While worship is often part of our ministry, team roles vary and everyone can contribute in different ways. Details about specific roles are provided when mission opportunities are posted. Many team members discover gifts and abilities they didn’t know they had—so don’t worry if you think you might not have anything to offer.
Is it safe to travel in Bulgaria?
Yes, it is safe to travel in Bulgaria.
There have been no specific safety concerns, and there are no special travel advisories from the Canadian government. Like in many countries, pickpocketing can occur in busy areas such as markets, so normal precautions apply.
Bulgaria is part of the European Union and a NATO member. Our teams always travel together, and while the trip is a life-changing opportunity to engage with a different culture, safety is a priority.
